Straight Line Editorial Development

Editorial Philanthropy

The members of Straight Line see enormous value in applying our skills to nonpaying projects that contribute to the greater good. To this end, over the years we have participated in a number of ventures that simply make the world a better place. These include:

  • Writing, word processing, and proofreading foundation documents, grant applications, and program materials for Seven Tepees Youth Program, a local nonprofit providing after-school tutoring and mentoring for underserved youth in San Francisco (1998-2009)
  • Editing, word processing, and proofreading letters and announcements for the alumni association of Wiley College, a traditionally African American college in Texas
  • Sending much-needed story books and reading materials to the small library in Chuquibamba, Peru

In acknowledgement of the trees that provide the paper for the manuscript we generate, we make an annual contribution to the International Forest Project.
