Straight Line Editorial Development

Consulting and Curriculum Design

We frequently consult with publishers to brainstorm and plan the instructional design of new products. We bring several skills to the table that help us to excel at this task:

  • a solid knowledge of the principles that guide instruction
  • familiarity with the multitude of requirements that educational materials must satisfy in order to be successful
  • an understanding of the current education climate and emerging trends in instruction
  • a sensitivity to the learning needs and abilities of children working on level, above level, and below level in all grades

Following is a short list of products we have helped to conceive, plan, and prototype.
