Straight Line Editorial Development

About Straight Line Editorial Development (SLED)

Straight Line is a top-tier developer of educational materials for the K–12 market. Our group was founded in 1987 by a group of writers and editors who had worked together on several major educational projects during the previous three years.

Our focus is on curriculum and content development. We conceptualize, prototype, write, and edit student textbooks, teacher guides, activity books, interactive courseware, test preparation and assessment materials, trade books, and the content for educational toys. We work in tandem with design and production people on book projects, and with software developers on interactive programs delivered via digital media or the Internet.
